Soaps Ive Tried

If a soap is on this list, then it can produce an excellent shaving lather.  Any oddities will be noted as well.

Arko - Industrial lemony smell is hard to handle for some, but no one can doubt the performance in all kinds of water hardnesses. Inexpensive.
Barrister and Mann - -
Black Ship Grooming Co. - -
Boellis - Overpriced, but excellent lather.
Cade Shaving Cream (Tube) - -
Captain's Choice - -
Catie's Bubbles - -
Cella - -
Chiseled Face - -
Col Conk - An inexpensive glycerin soap. Some don't like it, but I, and many more, get super slick lathers from it.
Cold River Soap Works - -
Cooper & French - -
D.R. Harris - the only long-standing UK company left that still makes their own hard soaps. Very good ones, too.
Dapper Dragon - -
Declaration Grooming - -
Dr. Jon's - -
Eufros - -
Fine Accoutrements - -
George F. Trumpers - Hard soaps are overpriced, because they have been outsourced and aren't as good as they used to be.
Gold Dachs - -
Grooming Dept - -
Haslinger - -
Henri et Victoria - -
Holy Black - -
Klar - -
L&L Grooming - Around 2017 or 2018, this one merged with Declaration Brushworks to become Declaration Grooming.
L'Occitane Cade - The cream is excellent, but may have been discontinued.
La Toja stick - -

Palmolive Stick - -
Panna Crema - -
Pre de Provence - -
Proraso - -
RazoRock - A good soap, but probably not as good as most on here.
Reef Point Soaps - -
Sapone Di Paolo - -
Saponificio Varesino - -
Soap Commander - -
Soap Smooth - -
Soapy Bathman - -
Southern Witchcrafts - -
Stirling - Large selection. Very slick. Budget priced.
Storybook Soap Works - -
Stubble Buster - -
Summer Break Soaps - -
Tabac - Smell puts many off. But, like Arko, superior performance is never in doubt by anyone.
Tallow & Steel - -
Tcheon Fung Sing (TFS) - Italian soap maker, despite the funky name.
Tiki Bar - -
Taylor of Old Bond St (TOBS) - Popular, but many soaps perform better than the creams.  for less money.  Hard soaps are overpriced, because they have been outsourced and aren't as good as they used to be.
Truefit & Hill - Hard soaps are overpriced, because they have been outsourced and aren't as good as they used to be.
Valobra - -
West of Olympia - -
Wholly Kaw - -
Williams Mug Soap - Reputation as a bad soap, but it's just finicky. Many can get super-slick lathers from it. Inexpensive
